A session on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was organized by the Office of External Relations (OER) in collaboration with Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP), Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), and ILM Fund at UMT Campus on April 30, 2019. The speakers included Ahmad Nadeem, Head Communications and Outreach, PCP, and Arsalan M Kashfi, Senior Program Officer, PCP. Sharing his views on the occasion, Abid H K Shirwani, DG UMT, highlighted how CSR and SDGs can benefit society as a whole. He called for strong collaboration in similar ventures involving PCP and UMT in future.
The informative session was enjoyed by several participants as well as faculty and staff of UMT. Many aspects of the importance of SDG'S in the corporate world were discussed during the session. At the end of the session, certificates were distributed among attendees while souvenirs were presented to the distinguished speakers.
